(UAE) CNC Production Manager

• Experience and Skills

1. Minimum 15 years in CNC manufacturing, including 5 years as manager.

2. Minimum 5 years in high accuracy parts making (accuracy 8 to 20 microns).

3. Turning and milling expert.

• Software and Systems Knowledge Requirement

1. Mastercam toolpath generation: expert

2. Siemens 808D and 842D turn and mill controllers: expert

3. Siemens NX12 CAD: fluent

​

• General Duties

​Ensure that the CNC machines, rooms and other workshop machines are clean, in a proper state of operating at all times.

 

• Mechanical Production Duties

1. Ensure that the production of parts is efficient.

2. Establish the production timing required for each part.

3. Consign the fabrication times and stock weights in the appropriate software table.

4. Verify parts tolerances and mechanical assembly clearances.

5. Verify general part surface quality.

6. Verify logging of machine hours and machine problems by the technician on the machine log.

7. Analyse log problems and trigger on condition maintenance if required.

8. Establish and follow up on interval maintenance programs.

9. Verify cutters stock, cutters condition.

10. Verify that the technicians keep the machines, room and tools clean at all times. Verify that the tools are back in their respective positions at the end of the day, that the machines are clean of all chips, that the bins are emptied daily.

• Programming Duties

1. Read and analyse the CAD generated by the design engineer.

2. Operate the CAM program to generate toolpath.

3. Note machining times and stock weights in the appropriate excel files to generate cost sheets. Verify versus actual times and stock weight.

4. Modify cost sheets in case of discrepancies and generate a warning to the executive assistant and CEO.
